The Idea behind the development of village website
Hey Friends, As you all know that today the whole world drives on the road of technology. Technology makes our life even more faster, easier and comfortable. Internet is the one of the fastest growing technology by the use of which, we can easily communicate with the rest of the world very easily at very cheaper rates and in a very short period of time.
I developed this website especially for the people who are sitting very far away from the village; yes, I'm talking about the foreign people. Its my little try to show them a picture of today's village, the activities in the village, some contact numbers of the persons and so on. This website gives you all the information about the village Ibrahimwal. This village is a very rich in culture and is a very famous in the whole kapurthala district because its a village of very famous personalities like famous kabaddi player Fiddu, Talwinder singh Sonu and a social worker Sh.Tilak Raj Arora. Village Ibrahimwal Nagar Kirtan 2009
Every year with the grace of Guru Granth Sahib ji, the people of the village celebrates the birthday of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji (10th Guru of Sikhism). The Birthday of the year 2009 was celebrated on 5th January. The whole environment was very good on that day and people from the near small villages were also participated in the gathering. Villagers who have their own vehicles like cars, jeeps and motorcycles etc. , were joined the holy day along and behind the Guru Sahib Palki. With proper respect and with Guru's Five Favorites (Panj Pyare), Guru Sahib's Holy Palki was arranged in the garden of flowers. The Raagi singhs and Gurbani Shabad Singers were sung the Gurbani Shabads along the whole way back to village. The Nagar Kirtan started from Village ibrahimwal towards village habibwal, Taandi, Hassowal, Bakkuwal then to Nadala, where all the sangat took the holy lunch famously known as Langer in Sikhism. Then after approx. half an hour, nagar kirtan moved towards village Raipur Peerbaksh, Saintpur Daala, Raipur Raajputa, Dera Baba Maaza Singh ji Hoti Mardaan, Maqsudpur, Talwandi, Ghag, Daultpur and then back to the place from where it started. The Nagar kirtan was ended as by paying regards and saying Thank you to Guru Granth sahib in the form of Ardaas at Gurudwara Chardi Patti Sahib, Village Ibrahimwal.
There are other sections where I tried to write about Education in the village and its surroundings, the Photo Gallary contains the latest photos of the village, the Social Socities, Yellow Pages and much more about the village.Recently, I got some request from some of my village friends that they want to download punjabi songs (specially Miss Pooja songs) and also to watch punjabi movies and other stuff like that. So, I'm also trying to make some web pages where you can download the media stuff. Please notice that the stuff like songs, movies on the Internet are more or less illegal, So please don't copy it to your disk or something like that. I would be very happy if you please support me.
